The gatherings

A watch is judged on the wrist.

Not in a square photo with a filter. Rehaut gatherings exist for that reason, and for the person wearing it.

Formats

Four kinds of evening

The format sets the size, the venue and the tone. A dinner for eight is not prepared like a launch for sixty.

The table

Six to ten people around dinner. Everyone brings a piece and explains why it is there. The densest format, and the hardest to get into.

The circle

Twenty to forty people in a borrowed venue, often a boutique after closing. You move around, you look, you trade contacts.

The workshop

A visit to a watchmaker or a restorer. Small group, by registration, with the person who does the work in the room.

The maison

A manufacture invites its owners or its future owners. It runs its list, we run the machinery.

The sequence

What you see, and when

Information unlocks in stages. That is deliberate: a fully public gathering would be an invitation addressed to the wrong people.

Before applying
Format, city, date, host. Nothing else.
Application sent
The host sees your verified profile and decides. You are not on a public waiting list.
Seat confirmed
The neighbourhood, then the exact address on the day. The guest list opens.
Afterwards
The contacts you crossed stay reachable. The conversation continues if both sides want it.
The rules

Three rules, seriously enforced

  • No photographs of others without consent. Not the pieces, not the faces, not the venue.
  • No soliciting. A sale can grow out of an evening. An evening does not turn into a trade show.
  • No retelling outside. Who was there, what was worn, what was said.

A broken rule means removal. No discussion, and no exception for important profiles. It is the only way the circle is worth anything.

Attend a gathering

Access is by invitation. Introduce yourself, we open in waves.
